Dogs Could be Trained to Detect COVID-19 Because Diseases Often Have Their Own Unique Odor One of the many problems surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic is that there aren’t enough tests to go around. The charity Medical Detection Dogs has partnered with Durham University and the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine to see if dogs can be trained to sniff out patients with COVID-19.
