Last night, four Souls wandered out of a dark wood into a cottage with a warm hearth, bubbling stew, and weavers singing. They placed the
embers they carried - some glowing, some cold, and some burnt to ash -
into the hearth.
They rested and ate, and before returning back into the darkness, they
each received a beautiful gift handwoven from the fibers they had
brought with them: a invitation to presence, a nourishing routine, a
lesson on tending fire, an encounter with purpose.
