MAGIC CUSTARD PIE - AN EASY, FAST AND IMPRESSIVE DESSERT!

MAGIC CUSTARD PIE - AN EASY, FAST AND IMPRESSIVE DESSERT! INGREDIENTS
2 cups milk (can use skim milk, half and galh or light cream also)
4 eggs
3/4 cup of sugar
1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 pinch salt
1/2 cup all purpose flour
Nutmeg for the top of the pie (OPTIONAL)

INSTRUCTIONS
1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
2. Grease a 10 inch pie pan with butter (or cooking spray). You can also use a square metal or glass baking dish if you don't have a pie plate.
3. Place all of the ingredients in a blender and blend for a minute or 2 until everything is well mixed.
4. Pour batter into your baking dish and sprinkle the nutmeg over the top (if you are using nutmeg).
5. Bake for 45 - 55 minutes or until pie is set.
6. remove from oven and let cool completely before slicing.

NOTES:
You can place the pie in the refrigerator if you want to allow it to set faster.

You can use cinnamon to sprinkle on top instead of the nutmeg (or you can use both).

Once pie is cool you can sprinkle powdered sugar on top before serving.

This pie is VERY light and airy; don't expect a heavy or "cakey" pie -- it's more like an egg custard or flan (or pudding), but in the shape of a pie. Perfect for company if you are in a rush and need a delicious dessert.

Enjoy!
