remove spyware from RED STAR OS 3.0 and get root

at terminal. .. (i didn't include how to fined terminal as many videos on YouTube anyway)

first you must gain root access.

run at terminal



/usr/sbin/rootsetting

make english

sed -i 's/ko_KP/en_US/g' /etc/sysconfig/i18n /usr/share/config/kdeglobals

to fix internet

rm /etc/sysconfig/iptables
service iptables restart

to make browser to English


Go to the second-to-last menu
Select the third option
Go to the second-to-last tab
Select the “(ko-KP)” add-on and click the first button to disable it
Click the button on the yellow bar to restart the browser
The browser will ask for confirmation if more than one tab is open, click the blue button if it does

to remove all the spyware download this tool hear .



run defuse.sh .. must have root first


spyware as follows.
1.automatic boot loop if change system files or try to kill the spyware from running
2. hard drive serial number embedded in all files created by user (to trace owner of files)
3. fake antivirus the "detects" files that have a "none sanctioned" title or content i.e anti north Korea
