RESTRICTED SUPPLY OF VEGETABLES TO GOA FROM BELGAUM ON ACCOUNT OF NEW COVID-19 POSITIVE CASE

Vegetable supply from Belgaum to Goa to be restricted after increased cases of Covid-19. According to sources farmers have restricted themselves from coming to markets to sell their vegetables with the fear of Covid-19. Suppliers have claimed that their trucks are stopped and sent back from Keri checkpost.

According to reports around 100 vegetable loaded trucks were blocked releasing on few to enter Goa. Farmers claim that their produce is wasted and they have to feed it to cattle.

A new Covid-19 positive case has be detected in Belgaum on Saturday.
