EFFORTS are being put in place by the police to limit movement towards the northern and southern parts of Petaling Jaya. For the next three days, the police will study routes that could limit public movement into and out of the city, Petaling Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Nik Ezanee Mohd Faisal (pic) said Saturday (March 28). “Petaling Jaya has many alternative roads. There is not much use even if we put up 10 road blocks here because people know the alternative routes. “However, it is very important that we control movement. We do not want too much movement from the heart of Petaling Jaya towards the northern part of the city which connects to Sungai Buloh, Kota Damansara and other parts of Damansara. “Similarly, we also want to reduce movement towards the southern part of the city in the direction of Sri Petaling and Pantai Dalam, ” said Nik Ezanee.
