Tesla is preparing upgrades for it's assembly plants and Gigafactories with permits that the company has applied for. One potential upgrade is the Gigacasting that Elon Musk says could take the rear under-body from 70 parts down to 1. Currently Sandy Munro calls it the Megacasting which still has 4 separate parts. Giga Shanghai is also being upgraded to support Model Y and surprise Tesla's competitors in China. Website:
