The Purpose of Life is Usefulness | Igor Marinelli | TEDxInsper

When Igor Marinelli was 13 years old, he got detention for hacking his entire school computer system. Since then, he has been driving his life with usefulness. Being useful is a mindset. And like with any mindset, it starts with a decision. One day he woke up and thought to himself: What am I doing for this world? The answer was nothing. And that same day he started coding for good. For you it can be painting, creating a product, helping elderly, or anything you feel like doing. Don’t take it too seriously. Don’t overthink it. Just DO something that’s useful. Anything. Then everything else starts straightening out.

Igor Marinelli is a Computer Engineer dropout from the University of São Paulo and research scholar by the University of California in Data and Blockchain. Founder and Board Member of STH.org.br, an NGO that helps Brazilian children who need health treatments and Founder of Tractian.com , an A.I. and IoT startup focused on helping industries to enable operational efficiency.
