A lawsuit filed on June 19 alleges Valdosta, GA, police used excessive force in a February 2020 incident where they mistook the plaintiff, Antonio Arnelo Smith, for someone who had an outstanding warrant. In body camera footage released by the city, officers can be seen approaching Smith and arresting him.
