J.K Rowling subject to quick and fierce ‘hatred and pile-on’ by the Twitterati

J.K Rowling subject to quick and fierce ‘hatred and pile-on’ by the Twitterati After being the “darling of the Twitterati” for trolling President Donald Trump acclaimed writer J.K Rowling is now “copping all the hate” according to Sky News host Chris Kenny.

Ms Rowling came under fire on Twitter for re-tweeting and commenting on an article which read “1.8 billion girls, women and gender non-binary persons menstruate”.

She said “People who menstruate? “I'm sure there's a word for those people, Someone help me out. Womben? Wimpund? Woomud?”.

Instead of people accepting a point about “mangled language” in the original article, Ms Rowling was “decried as being anti-trans; discriminating and demeaning transgender people,” Mr Kenny said.

“The hatred and the pile-on was quick and fierce, people denouncing her books, abusing her, this is how this stuff goes, as you know.”
