Welcome to another episode of Ten Minutes with Pastor Femi, i’m glad to have you with me again and we’ve been talking about fear and the different shades of fear and we’ve clearly stated the three types of fear. We talked about the fear of God which is a compulsory fear, we talked about a necessary fear to have which is the motivating fear and then we talked about the destructive fear. The fear of God which is the compulsory fear is what every one needs to have because the bible even said the fear of God is the beginning of wisdom. This is a fear that is expressed by obeying, and carrying out what he asked you to do. This fear should be expressed because God is the greatest and so he should be honored.
In 2 Peter 3:3-4, the Bible stated that there will come a time when people will be mocking God and are trying to take away the honor that God is supposed to have and they attack the word and make you look stupid because you’re a believer, this people have no respect for God.
