IRDAI has now changed norms to permit the renewal, migration and portability of Covid-19 specific standard health insurance policies. Corona Kavach, Corona Rakshak and Group Corona Kavach are now permitted portability to normal health policies. The Corona policies can currently be bought for 3.5 months,6.5 months and 9.5 month.
