The tide chart read: -0.09 for the bottom of the tide at 5pm yesterday. That's an extremely low tide at place that's already shallow during a 'regular' low tide. It was a vast expanse of dry reef as the sun went down, and apart from an even shallower playing field the wave at Bingin itself was shorter than usual with not much of a barrel.
The best of it went down in the early afternoon while there was still some water on it. It was a bit inconsistent, but still a few perfect little cylinders for those that could squeeze themselves into them.
All in all it was another fine afternoon on the Bukit.
