MAKING AN IMPRESSIVE SMART AMPLIFIER | Using A Raspberry Pi Zero & PiCorePlayer

MAKING AN IMPRESSIVE SMART AMPLIFIER | Using A Raspberry Pi Zero & PiCorePlayer Who knew that a simple, DIY smart speaker based on the Raspberry Pi and PiCorePlayer would be so good. I cannot believe how good such a simple setup sounds. What's more is that there are so many upgrades possible which will make the amplifier sound even better.

In this video, I show you how I built the basic version of a smart amplifier that uses PiCorePlayer. I will be using this amplifier as my daily driver and the next step is making a server (LMS) so that I can control this remotely and enable the various streaming options.

The hardware used is very similar to the one we looked at in a previous video. However, I decided to switch to PiCorePlayer as this meant that I didn't have to worry about safely shutting down the Raspberry Pi every-time. This makes it even more practical.
