EEG: Visually evoked potentials (VEP)

EEG: Visually evoked potentials (VEP)
Here we demonstrate how visually evoked potentials are measured. EEG is a very small signal buried into facial muscle activity, movement artefacts and enviromental noise. To distinguish what is actually EEG and what is noise we evoke EEG changes with the help of a repetitive stimulus. These stimuli are then added up and form the VEP.
