In this lesson you will learn how Christmas is celebrated in Russian culture. Christmas in Russia is celebrated on January 7th. Russian Christmas is a religious holiday and Russian Orthodox church recommends fasting and refraining from eating certain foods. It's an old Russian tradition to attempt to predict future on Russian Christmas Eve. Some Russian girls still enjoy using simple techniques that give them an insight into their future. In the video I am discussing a couple of them.
