A rare Amazonian cactus Moonflower blossomed for the first time in the history of the United Kingdom, the Cambridge Botanists said on Saturday.
The time-lapse footage released by the Cambridge University's Botanic Garden shows a divine flower of Selenicereus wittii developing from a tiny bud and dying just hours later, as it blooms just once a year for a maximum of 12 hours.
The flower, according to Cambridge botanists, achieved it's maximum length of 28cm (11 inches).
