Diddle Arena on the campus of Western Kentucky University It was the second meeting of the year for the two, with Warren Central winning at Barren County by a score of 82-51 on January 27th, 2004. It was the fourth postseason meeting between the two teams, and first in a region final. Warren Central had won the previous three matchups, with all coming by margins of 17 or higher. Entering this game, Warren Central had won five straight against Barren County, and 16 straight against all opponents. Warren Central would win this game 74-39, and eventually would win the state championship one week later.
