A New Armor Type Was Added?!?!? | Nerd Immersion

Yup, I just found out by a random DnD Beyond search that Explorer's Guide to Wildemount added a new type of armor! It's called the Pride Silk Outfit, and from what I can tell...it might be Light Armor...but it also might not be? Either way it's cool to see new armor added to the game after 5 years, but it is fundamentally the same as leather armor except for price, weight and aesthetics. What do you think? Is it considered Light Armor or can anyone wear it?
