Bank Transforms Into Drive-Thru Funeral Home | Coronavirus News for April 17, 2020 A funeral home near Memphis, Tennessee is offering families a safe way to pay their last respects. Instead of gathering together in large groups, mourners drive by a window. The space used to be a bank. Funeral director Ryan Bernard said the drive-thru service makes sense in the age of the Coronavirus, “Where a large group of family members can get together with their family members and gather and they're in their automobiles and everybody is still safe and practicing social distancing.”
