How to Update your Countertop with Appliance Epoxy

How to Update your Countertop with Appliance Epoxy Here is a step-by-step video of how we updated our bathroom vanity with appliance epoxy.

This is not a long-term fix, but rather a temporary solution to update our vanity until we can fully renovate our bathroom.

I started with the roll-on epoxy and used a foam roller, but was not happy with the bumpy texture that it left behind. So I sanded as much of the bumpy texture down as I could and finished with two coats of the spray epoxy. The spray epoxy leaves a duller finish than the roll on epoxy.

Pros of spray epoxy:
-quicker
-smoother finish

Cons of spray epoxy:
-strong fumes
-major overspray

If I were to only use the roll on epoxy, I would use just a brush and not a foam roller. I'm curious if a foam brush may have worked better?
