Effect of Covid 19 on Spouse Visa
The United Kingdom Government has reduced specific visa rules. On the 24th March 2020, the United Kingdom Home Office declared that foreign nationals whose leave had expired after 24th January 2020, but could not depart from the United Kingdom because of travel restrictions or self-isolation can have their visa extended to 31st May 2020.
Not like other nations that automatically provided visa extensions, foreign nationals in the United Kingdom must still inform the United Kingdom Government. A committed Coronavirus Immigration Team has been set up to deal with such problems. Fiancé Visa and Married Partner Visa immigration rules and regulations continue to be in place. This means desired spouse visa applicants must make sure they meet all the requirements and obligations.
