Why Ranbir Was Drug Addicted from Childhood. Ranbir Kapoor is one of the most talented and leading actors in the Bollywood industry. Ranbir Kapoor has faced many ups and downs in his life and in his Bollywood career too. But currently everything is going on well in his personal and professional life. Ranbir is very much happy in his love life with none other than Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt. But Ranbir was not this much happy always in his life and his childhood was not a happy childhood at all. Because of this he became a drug addict and got addicted to alcohols too. Ranbir was born with a golden spoon in none other than Kapoor family. Ranbir’s father, Bollywood actor Rishi Kapoor was an alcoholic and drug addict too. Rishi Kapoor used to have major fights with Ranbir’s mother, Neetu Kapoor, who was also a Bollywood actress. Rishi Kapoor used to get drunk and even tortured Neetu Kapoor too much. Ranbir, when he was young, was shocked and afraid of his father because of this kind of behavior of Rishi ji. He even stopped talking with his father as Rishi Kapoor was also not interested in his children, Ranbir and Riddhima. Ranbir never got love from his father in his childhood and he always felt the absence of his father because Rishi Kapoor was busy with alcohol and women. Rishi was never interested in his marital life and always kept himself busy with alcohol, women and drugs. Once Neetu Kapoor left Rishi and started living on her own with her children by opening a salon. As Ranbir was deprived from the love of his father, Neetu ji always pampered him a lot to keep him happy and it is Neetu’s love that made Ranbir a spoilt brat. He started taking drugs when he was just 15 years old. He first tried drug when he was at school. Ranbir even got badly addicted to alcohol in his adolescence period. Ranbir revealed that to forget the pain of his personal life he took the help of alcohol. Ranbir was so much addicted to alcohol that there was not single day in past when he did not consume alcohol. He became just like his father. Because of his addiction with alcohol and drugs he failed in his studies badly and left his study at a very early age. Neetu Kapoor was the closest one Ranbir’s life but she failed to make Ranbir a better son and she realized her mistake. Ranbir was sent to a rehab center in America from where he came out without his addiction towards drugs. But Ranbir failed to overcome his addiction towards alcohol ever and he is still addicted to alcohol badly. Ranbir is a very much talented actor but he had gone through a very rough phase in his professional life. There was a time when each and every movie of Ranbir failed to impress the audience and the critics. His movies like Besharam, Bombay Velvet, Roy bombed at the box office and because of this Ranbir went into depression and again started taking drugs and alcohol. Ranbir is now quite happy in his life and is preparing for his marriage with Alia and now he shares a good bond with his father too. In spite of being so happy in his happening life, Ranbir is still an alcoholic and this does not bother Alia at all cause she loves consuming alcohol too. #ranbirkapoor
