Aggravated Assault 5301 Chew Ave DC 20 14 028583

On Wednesday April 29, 2020 at 9:20 PM a group of six unknown black males assault an employee, a 30 year-old male, of The Fresh Grocer located at 5301 Chew Avenue. The offenders arrive in two separate groups, the first in a Ford F150 or F250 white pickup truck. The second group arrives several minutes later in possibly a newer white Toyota RAV4. All of the offender meet in the entry area of the market and wait. The suspects observe the victim in the parking lot, at which time they approach them and initially strike the victim from behind. All of the males begin to punch/kick the victim multiple times causing injury. After the assault the offenders fled in their respective vehicles towards Chew Avenue from the parking lot. The victim was treated at a local hospital for the injuries sustained.

Suspect Description:
Suspect #1: Black male, late 20's to 30 years-of-age, stocky build, beard, light complexion, wearing a white baseball cap, red zip up jacket with white/black stripes, black shorts over gray sweatpants and gray sneakers
Suspect #2: Black male, late teens to early 20 years-of-age, thin build, medium complexion, wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt with "BMW MOTORSPORTS", in white lettering, dark sweatpants with white lettering and black/white sneakers.
Suspect #3: Black male, late teens to early 20 year-of-age, medium complexion, light beard, thin build, wearing a two tone gray hooded sweatshirt with "TRUE HIGH 02" on the back, with faded/torn blue jeans and black sneakers.
Suspect #4: Black male, late teens to early 20 years-of-age, medium complexion, beard, wearing a light gray hooded sweatshirt, faded denim jeans and white/black sneakers.
Suspect #5: Black male, late teens to early 20 years-of-age, medium complexion, wearing an orange colored hooded sweatshirt with "NASA" on the front and an AMERICAN FLAG on the back, fade jeans and gray sneakers.
Suspect #6: Black male, late teens to early 20 years-of-age, medium/dark complexion, thin build, wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt and dark pants.
