If you have not seen before the Procreate app and how it works on an iPad, think of it as using tracing paper over a photo, then using the tracing paper to transfer the image to watercolor paper. I still use tracing paper because it is fun. Using the iPad is just as fun too.
I made this video to introduce the concept of using technology to assist in your creative artistic efforts. Many other artists have You Tube tutorial videos on the details for using the Procreate app. I have been using Procreate since 2015.
I have been doing watercolor art since 2017, so I call myself an experienced beginner. I have learned a lot and I am sharing the best and unique things I have learned with others. Beginning artists, like myself, have many new artistic skills to practice. Art is fun. Learning is fun. Sharing is fun. It is all about adding some fun in your life.
The Procreate app on the Apple App Store is about $10. It will run on a variety of older iPads and the newest iPad as long as the operating system is OS Version 13.2 or later.
