Gears Tactics is a turn-based tactics title. A spin-off of the Gears of War franchise and a prequel to the first game. There are a lot of great mechanics like action points, overwatch and low - high cover such as from XCOM and Space Hulk Tactics but also the unique mechanics of the Gears universe such as chainsaw finishers, emergence holes to be shut with grenades and new mechanics like overwatch interrupts and finishers refreshing action points!
The focus is placed on the tactical side as there is no base management but character skill trees are more diverse and deep. A great action-packed tactical experience!
