UPDATE | Surviving Cash Money "Surviving Cash Money: chapter 3- Wild Telly"

"Surviving Cash Money: Full Doc"

Last year I did my “Surviving Cash Money” story which included a chapter about the connection of Hankton hitter Moonie Porter to B.G. of Cash Money Records fame. B.G. is near the end of a 14 year federal prison sentence right now, the result of being arrested in a car full of guns back in 2010… with none other than Jerod Fedison. Fedison got 20 years in that case for being a felon in possession of firearms and obstructing justice. This was federal time, so he would have had to serve close to 17 years before he got out. But when the Hankton family, led by Wild Telly, went on trial for RICO offenses in 2016, Fetti got on the witness stand and was let out of federal prison very early as a reward.
The neighborhood the Hankstons and Walter Porter, and Feddison, and B.G. all come from is divided into two sides, the moneyside and the murdaside. The Hankton’s were from the Moneyside and B.G., Fetti, and Porter come from the murdaside.

We talked on the phone a few times and I was supposed to meet him in Baton Rouge, a city I am very interested in, though he is from New Orleans. I have only been to New Orleans once and I could tell that it is a very, very unsafe place. When I went I was with 2 lawyers, one of whom tried to run for a judgeship and was promptly indicted for his cocaine activities and the other was secretly the member of a 1% biker gang. Allegedly. But that’s a story for a never time and place.

Considering that it was very well known that Feddison had testified against Hankton, and then judging by his Instagram photos showing him moving around New Orleans with no fear, I figured he was an actively dangerous person. He wanted me to do an interview with him, which sounded interesting, but I definitely didn’t want to be in New Orleans with him.

If you find it surprising that a guy whose name had been all over the news for his high profile arrest with B.G. and testifying against the Hanktons and Porter, well, that’s what very hard core street guys do. I know several guys in Detroit who went around or go around daring someone to do something to them about their “getting down” And, in reality, many of your famous street guys have “gotten down”, maybe they didn’t get on a witness stand or sign a piece of paper with their name on it like Fetti did, so you don’t know about it. But, realistically, if a guy will take a life so he can buy another piece of jewelry, or throw some money in the air at the strip club, do you really think he wouldn’t do anything he could to avoid prison?
